All power to and from first responders and hospitals should be underground cabling. We have known for years with recently huge storms we are vulnerable. The recent power station attack in CA just reinforces this fact. Imagine LA without power for days or a week. There would be riots and looting and police and fire useless. Phone systems should have complete backup systems.

Instead of the 2 trillion Obamacare healthcare is going to cost us. That money would pay for burying cable and phone systems in major city’s. Instead of the 500 million we send to Iraq, Syria, Pakistan etc. That could go to first responders backup phone systems. The money we spend on things not high on priority is mind blowing.
